How Long Do DIY Lashes Stay On?

We hear this question often and with good reason! At Home Eyelash extensions are a great way to save time and money, but how long do DIY Lash Extensions last? With Aera Lashes our Brush On Glue brings you 7 - 10 day lashes! The key is a proper application!

So how do you get that good 10 day hold on your DIY Lash Extensions? You want to apply a nice thick 3D Bubble of our Black Eyelash Glue or our Clear Eyelash Glue, whichever you prefer! Once you have applied you want to let your individual lash clusters sit for 2 - 3 minutes, sometimes 5 depending on the environment. The trick to an easy application is tacky DIY Lash Adhesive! If you go to apply your lash clusters and they are slipping off that means your glue is not yet tacky enough, remove and reapply.

You know your DIY Lash Adhesive is tacky when it sticks right away, but do not wait too long or you will have to apply more Lash Cluster Glue

Pro Tip : Make sure your lashes are fee of oil, this will also prevent an easy lash application.

Once your 3D bubble of DIY Lash Adhesive is tacky and applied you want to let your Lash Clusters sit for about 20 minutes, then grab your Lash Presser with your silicone presser sleeves and press down on your lashes. What does this do? It allows your natural eyelashes to bond with your DIY Individual Lash Clusters. A strong bond = a long lasting DIY Lash Extension!

Having trouble with your lashes still? Let us know, we are always here and happy to help apply your Aera DIY At Home Lash Extensions!
